Nicole (Abrahamson) Oberdas' PledgePage

For those of you who know me, I've never been much of an athlete. This past few months, I've started running. I've enjoyed it, so I've decided to take on a challenge. I'll be running in the Virginia Beach Rock n' Roll Half-Marathon (13.1 miles) on August 31st.

The best part is I'll be there running for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. They have a group called Team in Training.

Team in Training is the premier endurance training program in the country for runners, walkers, cyclists, and triathletes that benefits The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

We are running in honor of Morgan, an 8-year old who was diagnosed with acute myelogenous lymphoma (AML) in January 2002. She is still currently in treatment, but doing well.

We met her last Friday. She has big doe eyes and brown hair. Her little sister's name is Taylor - same big eyes, but she's blond. Morgan also has a big sister named Amber.

There are a few other's that are honorary team members who have been diagnosed with similar blood-relate cancers.

This is a great cause, so please pledge what you can. Email me your mailing address or email address if you need a pledge form. Click on Links on the left, and you'll be able to email me. The address is jasonandnikky@earthlink.net.
